Martins receives NASA Goddard Agency Honor Award
On June 11, 2024, the NASA Goddard Agency Honor Awards ceremony was held in the Building 8 auditorium. These awards are agency-wide.
Congratulations to Vanderlei Martins (613/UMBC), Director of Earth and Space Institute, on this well-deserved recognition!
J. Vanderlei Martins received an Exceptional Public Service Medal, one of the highest awards given to a non-government employee: "For exceptional sustained effort, vision, and leadership in delivering the Hyper Angle Rainbow Polarimeter (HARP2) to NASA's PACE mission."
