ESI joins the Maryland Aerospace Industry and Education Roundtable

On Wednesday, October 23, 2024, ESI faculty, interns, and students attended the Maryland Aerospace Industry and Education Roundtable at the University of Maryland, College Park in College Park, MD. This networking event brought together industry professionals, local and state politicians, and university partners to foster new collaborations and career opportunities for the state’s growing STEM workforce. UMBC Atmospheric Physics graduate student Rachel Smith and ESI systems engineer Danny Nelson spoke to the attendees about their interest in STEM and their current role in ESI and UMBC. The event was also attended by federal representatives from NASA and NOAA.
